Anita. Kanelli was born in Kolkata, India. After that, he moved to Europe with his family and studied in primary and secondary schools in the UK. She is a prolific non-fiction children's book writer and has published more than one hundred books.
Anita is a member of the Royal Geographical Society. Canelli is very keen on the study of geography, and has incorporated a large amount of knowledge and various wonderful and weird geographical events into her most important work "Fantastic Cool Geography". This set of books has won important awards such as the Silver Award of the Royal Geographical Society of Canada and the Blue Peter Book Award.

阿妮塔．加奈利出生在印度的加爾各答，之後，和家人舉家移居歐洲，並在英國就讀小學和中學。她是一位多產的非小說類童書作家，出版的書籍超過一百本以上。
擁有英國皇家地理學會會員身分的阿妮塔．加奈利，十分熱衷於地理學的研究，並把大量的知識和各種奇妙、怪異的地理事件，融入她最重要的作品「神奇酷地理」當中。這套書曾獲得加拿大皇家地理學會銀獎、藍彼得圖書獎等重要獎項。
