About the Author
Carmen Gil born in Cadiz, Spain in 1962, he currently lives in Aracena, a small town in the province of Huelva, Spain. Gil's main field of work is children's literature. She teaches and encourages children to read through creative reading and interactive methods. Gil's exposure includes drama, puppets, storytelling, and dance classes, but her favorite is writing, so she devoted herself to writing. Gil leads poetry classes at the elementary school and speaks to parents and other teachers on creative reading instruction.

卡爾門．吉兒 （Carmen Gil）
1962年出生於西班牙加的斯，目前居住西班牙韋爾瓦省的小鎮阿拉塞納。吉兒主要的工作領域是兒童文學，她藉由創意閱讀的互動方式，教導與鼓勵小朋友閱讀。吉兒接觸的內容包含戲劇、人偶、說故事、舞蹈教室，但她的最愛還是文字，因此投入文字工作。吉兒在小學帶領詩歌課程，對家長和其他老師演講創意閱讀教學。
她從2003年開始出版作品，截至目前已經出版八十幾部著作，她的作品不限於西班牙語世界，更翻譯成多國語言，於全球發行。2011年，吉兒的互動教學獲得安達路西亞區頒發的優質教育金牌獎。
