1973年出生於日本高知縣，在書籍、廣告、雜貨等不同領域都有活躍表現。主要作品有「麵包小偷」系列、《亂糟糟的弟弟》（以上皆由采實文化出版）、「眼鏡貓」系列、「白熊」系列等。 養了一隻迷你臘腸犬「小夏」，目前育有二子。
