作、繪者簡介
幾米 Jimmy Liao
知名繪本作家。文化大學美術系畢業，二十多年來，創作了超過六十本繪本，擅長以童趣繽紛的圖畫和溫柔詩意的文字說故事，療癒了無數大小讀者的心。
2003年入選日本《STUDIO VOICE》雜誌「亞洲最有創意的55人」之一，2007年入選 Discovery 頻道「台灣人物誌 II」六大代表人物。在台北、新北、宜蘭、台南等地有幾米主題公園或地景藝術，也曾受邀到日本參加大地藝術祭和北阿爾卑斯藝術祭。
幾米有多部作品被改編成音樂劇、電視劇、電影、動畫，翻譯成英、法、荷、西、義、日、德、俄、瑞典等多種語言，也與英、美、日等國出版社合作原創繪本。作品曾獲豐子愷兒童圖畫書獎、台北國際書展「書展大獎」，並多次榮獲金鼎獎，在國外也獲得義大利波隆那書展拉加茲獎、比利時維塞勒青少年文學獎、西班牙教育文化體育部主辦的出版獎之藝術類圖書年度首獎、瑞典彼得潘銀星獎，並多次入圍國際上最大的兒童及青少年文學獎項——林格倫紀念獎。
