柏尼包斯是荷蘭最受歡迎的兒童作品創作者，他不僅寫了四十多本童書，還製作許多兒童廣播與電視節目。他以「荷蘭兒童文學女王」安妮．M．G．施密特（Annie Schmidt）為典範，致力創作出充滿平等世界觀、氣氛溫暖和樂的經典作品，為孩子打造最快樂的童年。
繪者簡介
漢斯比爾（Hans de Beer）
畢業於雷特瓦藝術學院插畫系。他從小就喜歡畫畫，常在課本上塗鴉。大學原本主修歷史，後來決定邁向藝術之路。漢斯比爾的作品廣受大小朋友喜愛，而他的大學畢業作品《小北極熊和他的朋友們》系列就是他立足國際的代表作，全球發行三十多國語言，狂賣數百萬冊。他擅長以粉嫩的水彩創造出渾圓可愛的動物造型，描繪角色生動的動作與表情，精準刻劃鮮明的性格與特徵。
