這個故事的文字簡潔，搭配節奏性強的劇情，說故事的效果立竿見影！兒子從0開始牙牙學語時，就被《小象散步》逗得樂不可支。
我在孩子很小的時後就念這本《小象散步》給他聽，這是適合給還未進入幼兒園的孩子看的繪本，裡頭都是孩子喜歡的動物，大象、河馬、烏龜，對於從沒去過動物園、完全沒看過動物的孩子來說，是個很好的動物入門書。由於圖非常可愛，我想孩子在看完這個故事後會特別喜愛動物。
一歲十個月的兒子非常喜歡這本《小象散步》，重覆句多，讓他可以在共讀的時後融入故事裡，一邊開心的跟著唸了起來。圖的顏色也很漂亮，非常推薦。
我很喜歡這個系列，同樣的故事結構，同樣的有趣！孩子也很喜歡，推薦一歲半就可以閱讀喔。
作、繪者簡介
中野弘隆
1942年生於日本青森縣。1964年畢業於桑澤設計研究所。畢業後曾在動畫公司工作，之後投入繪本創作。其於1968年問世的《小象散步》一書，幽默、簡潔有力，廣受日本小孩喜愛，至今已近百刷，並破銷售百萬本紀錄。
