About the author Barbara Reid
Barbara was born in Canada and graduated from the Ontario College of Art and Design, where she started working on children's books. Since she was a child, she liked to play with clay, so the picture books created by Barbara are all made of clay paintings, which has become the biggest feature of her works.

芭芭拉．雷德（Barbara Reid）
芭芭拉．雷德（Barbara Reid），知名童書創作者，至今已出版數十本童書並翻譯成多種語言，並曾獲得許多獎項肯定。芭芭拉出生於加拿大，畢業於安大略省藝術與設計學院，畢業後開始從事童書創作。由於從小到大都喜歡玩黏土，所以芭芭拉所創作的圖畫書，插圖的部分都是以黏土畫製作而成的，這也成為她的作品中最大的特色。目前芭芭拉和家人定居於加拿大的多倫多。作者個人網站：barbarareid.ca/
