About the Author
Jenni Desmond is an artist and illustrator whose studio is located in Hackney, London, and writing picture books is her favorite thing to do. Jenny works with collage, paint, ink, and colored pencils, then scans the finished work to a computer for editing. Every time she creates, she strives to make her work pleasing and interesting. Jenny's first picture book "Red Cat, Blue Cat" won the 2013 Cambridge Children's Picture Book Award and is currently working on more picture books, textiles, cards, exhibitions and other related work. Jenny is also the illustrator for Family Trail, this year's National Portrait Gallery portrait painting competition.
