The current book, in both Chinese and English, is designed for foreign students who are interested in Taiji Quan. The Simplified 24-Step Taiji Quan was made out of the widespread Yang style by removing many repeated movements in the original version according to the principle of simplicity and gradual advancement. The book introduces the basic knowledge and skills for learning Taiji Quan from these aspects as the essentials for skills and movements, the culture of Taiji Quan and so forth. 本书是汉英对照的针对外国留学生学习太极拳的教材。以民间流传较广的场式太极拳套路为原型，按照先易后难、循序渐进的原则，去掉了原套路中大量的重复动作，整编出简化24式太极拳，从技术和动作要领、太极拳文化等几方面介绍了学习中国太极拳的基本知识和技能。
